Chapter 1: The Bait
The purple-furred creature cautiously peeked out from his temporary den residence, scanning the surrounding clearing under the dim moonlight with his deep amethyst eyes. A confident cheek-to-cheek grin formed when the lavender-furred quadruped confirmed his suspicions; no guards in sight.
He wasted no time as he quietly slithered out of and away from the hollow, carried by his lean and nimble legs along the carpet of grass and leaves littering the forest floor towards all the way to the tree line at the edge of the site. Every step towards his new den of choice near the edge of the clearing saw his spirits we

"Oh, sorry! I-"
Don't you "sorry" me! I told you lot to leave me alone! This is my time of privacy! Scat! Get out of here!
"I-I.... uh.... Whaaaah...!"

Well... Here I am, an unlucky, bored quadruped mermaid thing which many call a "Vaporeon," talking into some small irrelevent black box... Since the moment I arrived some hours ago, not much has been on my mind, so it's kinda hard to just discuss what might or might no be bothering me. If anything, I'm still swimming in a flurry of pride and accomplishment over how Wes and I torn down this once scummy Team Mystic gym. Wasn't an easy fight, either, going up against a couple Vaporeons, Flareons, and Exeggutors, all before staring down a fiercesome Dragonite. Granted, the Vap
Chapter 81: The Bombshell
Marlaina had been silent since they returned to their den home. Rayshana and Soljeki had already headed away with Sylvana to guide them to Glacier.
Andy looked on with worry. The mention of Rayshana's soon-to-come face-off with death itself weighed on in his mind just as heavily as it did for his Chikorita friend.
A small squeak caught the Cyndaquil's attention. Khiama was staring at him through a pair of wide, curious, and caring eyes. Then, the young Eevee cast a glance towards the den entrance where little Soljeki peered out silently. Both kits seemed to sense that something was out of place

Prologue
A gentle wind blew calmly over the moor, the tall grass swaying to and fro in magnificent rippling waves. The full moon hung high amongst the many stars of Silverpelt.
On the edge of a shallow scoop in the moor which was home to the camp, Windclan's medicine cat of many seasons sat patiently, peering out over to the small island near the edge of the far end of the lake. His black-spotted white pelt shimmered in the same moonlight that bathed the plains all around him, seeming to hide his true age.
He was waiting for his clan to return from the Gathering. Normally, he'd be there with them, but with Doppletail's ki
Chapter 80: The Plan
The mother Flareon stared pointlessly at Mist's still-limp body. Each new day was suppose to bring new hope for her. Surely he'd open up today? If not, surely tomorrow? Or the day after? Such optimistic thoughts had been sparking in her mind with every morning when she woke up. However, her hope would quickly be slashed away when the Glaceon of interest continued to be the Glaceon of complete silence.
Now she knew better than to be so optimistic. Mist hadn't changed so much as in the tiniest sense of the word. If he hadn't changed now, how could he ever change? Was he really as doomed as they both ini
